Keuka College is an independent, four-year, residential, coeducational college in Keuka Park, which is a hamlet in Yates County, in the US state of New York.
The college was established in 1890 and was founded by George Harvey Ball, who had the vision of a college that would provide a high-level education to all deserving students, regardless of economic background. After going through financial troubles, which forced it to close in 1915, the collge was reopened in 1921, as Keuka College for Women, becoming co-ed in 1985, when financial struggles struck again, forcing the issue and the Board of Trustees to admit men.
Keuka currently offers its students a number of 33 bachelor's degree programs, 20 minors, double majors, and self-designed majors, including master's degree programs in childhood education, occupational therapy, management, and criminal justice administration, as well as sub-par preprofessional programs in dentistry, law, medicine, and veterinary medicine.
Keuka's athletic teams are nicknamed the Storm and they compete in NCAA Division III. Their distinctive colors are green and gold.
